Yes. If you’re interested in hosting something at The Commons but don’t want to become a Gatherer, we may still be able to support you through a one-off gathering. Email us hello@thesfcommons.com.
Gatherers is best for people who want to host recurring clubs, circles, salons, workshops, or community-led events and become more integrated into The Commons ecosystem.
One-off gatherings are best for hosts who want to bring a thoughtful event into the space once, or test something before deciding whether it should become recurring.Rentals are best for private events, offsites, parties, company gatherings, or groups that primarily need a beautiful space without joining the Commons community or programming ecosystem.

Gatherers can request recurring hosting slots, usually monthly or biweekly, based on availability. We’ll work with accepted Gatherers to find the right rhythm.
Club organizers, facilitators, artists, teachers, ritual hosts, movement guides, reading group leaders, salon hosts, community builders, and anyone who regularly brings people together around a shared curiosity, practice, or question.
Yes. Paid events are allowed, but they may have a lower member-only commission or revenue share depending on the format and size of the event.
Purely transactional events, hard-sell workshops, private parties, events that don’t align with the Commons ethos, or gatherings that require heavy operational support beyond what the program provides.
