What if I'm interested in hosting a gathering, but not in the Gatherers program?

Yes. If you’re interested in hosting something at The Commons but don’t want to become a Gatherer, we may still be able to support you through a one-off gathering. Email us hello@thesfcommons.com.

How often can I host?

Gatherers can request recurring hosting slots, usually monthly or biweekly, based on availability. We’ll work with accepted Gatherers to find the right rhythm.

Who is a good fit for Gatherers?

Club organizers, facilitators, artists, teachers, ritual hosts, movement guides, reading group leaders, salon hosts, community builders, and anyone who regularly brings people together around a shared curiosity, practice, or question.

Can I host paid events?

Yes. Paid events are allowed, but they may have a lower member-only commission or revenue share depending on the format and size of the event.

What kinds of events are not a fit?

Purely transactional events, hard-sell workshops, private parties, events that don’t align with the Commons ethos, or gatherings that require heavy operational support beyond what the program provides.
